What is Red Light Therapy?

Red light therapy is a treatment that uses low levels of red light to stimulate cell regeneration and improve blood flow.  It's also known as photobiomodulation and works by targeting the mitochondria within cells, essentially giving them a boost of energy to repair themselves. 

How long does it take for Red light therapy to work?

Some people may see results in as little as 1-3 visits, however to see significant benefits, you typically need to have a series of treatments. You may need a treatment each week for a month. Then you may need maintenance treatments every month or every few months. We do recommend no more than 3 visits in a week. 

Who should not use Red light therapy?

Red light therapy isn’t appropriate for everyone, including people who:

  • Take certain medications that increase their sensitivity to sunlight.

  • Have a history of certain conditions, including skin cancer and inherited eye diseases.

Do I need to wear eye protection?

​ Yes

Make sure you're hydrated!

Avoid Creams and lotions unless they are specifically made for Red Light beds.

 

For best results remove all makeup before using the bed.
